Simple Realizations of Current-Mode and Voltage-Mode PID, PI and PD Controllers
This paper presents new circuits for realizing both current-mode and voltage-mode proportional-integral- derivative (PID), proportional-derivative (PD) and proportional-integral (PI) controllers employing second- generation current conveyors (CCIIs) as active elements.

Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

Phase and Power Control in the RF Magnetron Power Stations of Superconducting Accelerators
Phase and power control methods that satisfy the requirements of superconducting accelerators to magnetron RF sources were considered by a simplified kinetic model of a magnetron driven by a resonant injected signal.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...

Sliding Mode Control of Buck Converter [PDF]
DC-DC converters are used to convert DC voltage from one level to other. These converters are drastically used in industry as well as in research. One of the main limitations of these converters is unregulated supply of voltage and current.

β‐TrCP overexpression enhances cisplatin sensitivity by depleting BRCA1
Low levels of β‐TrCP (Panel A) allow the accumulation of BRCA1 and CtIP, which facilitate the repair of cisplatin‐induced DNA damage via homologous recombination (HR) and promote tumor cell survival. In contrast, high β‐TrCP expression (Panel B) leads to BRCA1 and CtIP degradation, impairing HR repair, resulting in persistent DNA damage and apoptosis ...
