The “Quality” of High Voltage Radiations. I.
The British Journal of Radiology, 1935The main methods of defining the “quality” of an X-ray beam are discussed and criticised. It is concluded that the simple half-value method is, at the moment, least open to criticism. Spectra of high voltage radiations through Pb, Sn and Cu show the superiority of Sn as a filter. This is demonstrated in many ionisation experiments.

Quality of high-voltage research and testing
11th International Symposium on High-Voltage Engineering (ISH 99), 1999High-voltage research, which is usually directed at equipment for service, has to take into account the final aim of satisfactory performance in the power system. The adoption of a test standard for research is not sufficient, if it is not proven that the simplifications made to convert the system stresses into test conditions are also valid for the ...

Impact of wind turbines on voltage quality
8th International Conference on Harmonics and Quality of Power. Proceedings (Cat. No.98EX227), 2002Operation of wind turbines has an impact on the voltage quality at the connected electric network. The issues of concern are the impact on the magnitude of the voltage, flicker and distortion of the voltage waveform Aiming at securing proper voltage quality and still enable a fair amount of wind power in the electric network, simplified assessment e.g.
