Improving the torque generation in self-sensing BLDC drives by shaping the current waveform [PDF]
Brushless DC drives are widely used in different fields of application because of their high efficiency and power density. Torque ripple can be considered one of the drawbacks of these drives.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Research on Calculation Method of DC Side Capacitor Ripple Components for Three-level Inverter
Ripple current of DC side capacitor affects capacity selection and life of a capacitor, and ripple voltage of capacitor affects the voltage that power device needs to bear, so analysis of capacitor ripple components is very important for the design of ...

An Adaptive Control Strategy for a Low-Ripple Boost Converter in BLDC Motor Speed Control
Conventional boost converters are widely used for connecting low-voltage power sources and inverters in motor control. However, a large filter capacitor bank is often used to reduce DC-link ripples that occur when an inverter is connected to a boost ...

Reduction of Ripple Voltage in a Dynamitron [PDF]
We determined that a precise neutralization of the RF ripple voltage on the high voltage terminal of a Dynamitron has previously been prevented by a nonnegligible phase shift of RF currents in the two halves of the ~l00 kHz class C oscillator tank circuit, which is actually constituted of two slightly unequal high-Q coupled circuits because it has two ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

Integrated optimization of loss distribution and capacitor voltage ripple for MMC devices
Under inverter operating conditions, significant loss is incurred by the insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) (referred to as T2 tube) in the lower part of the half-bridge submodule.

Minimum-Output-Current-Ripple Control of Current-Fed Three-Level Phase-Shift Full-Bridge Converter
Electrified ports using medium-voltage DC (MVDC) renewable energy microgrids require current-fed dc/dc converters in application scenarios such as battery or ultracapacitor charging units and hydrogen production systems.
