Voltammetry

1986
Abstract Voltammetry is the study of the current voltage relationships observed when electroactive species in solution are subject to oxidation or reduction at electrodes under carefully controlled conditions. This article describes the basic principle of voltammetry performed using the dropping mercury electrode (polarography).

In Vivo Voltammetry with an Ultramicroelectrode

Bioelectrochemistry and Bioenergetics, 1989
Studies of the transport properties of various substances through biomembranes give useful information in many aspects, particularly when they are made in vivo. Recent developments in electrochemistry have enabled us to observe translocation of molecules and ions across a living cell membrane.

Genuine differential voltammetry

Talanta
A novel form of differential voltammetry is proposed, developed through the implicit anodic and cathodic current components of the experimentally accessible conventional net current measured in a voltammetric experiment. By employing basic mathematical modelling of an electrode reaction of a dissolved redox couple at a conventional, macroscopic ...

Film stripping voltammetry

Talanta, 1971
Film stripping voltammetry is a new electrochemical analytical method consisting in concentrating the test substance in the form of a metal or a sparingly soluble compound on the electrode surface and subsequently recording the current for electrodissolution of the deposit.

Hydrodynamic modulation voltammetry

Talanta, 1981
Highly efficient background-correction techniques applicable to voltammetric methods of trace analysis can be developed by modulating the convection rate of the solution at a solid electrode surface. The theoretical aspects, advantages, disadvantages, and analytical applications of the various batch and flow approaches to hydrodynamic modulation ...

Square-Wave Voltammetry

2005
Square-wave voltammetry (SWV) is one of the four major voltammetric techniques provided by modern computer-controlled electroanalytical instruments, such as Autolab and µAutolab (both EcoChemie, Utrecht), BAS 100 A (Bioanalytical Systems) and PAR Model 384 B (Princeton Applied Research).

Adsorptive stripping voltammetry or cathodic stripping voltammetry? Methods of accumulation and determination in stripping voltammetry

Analytical Proceedings including Analytical Communications, 1994
Stripping voltammetric methods involve both accumulation and determination steps, and sometimes intermediate steps. Ideally it would be helpful if nomenclature could be found which gave information on the nature of all of the steps involved. Possible combinations of accumulation and determination methods in stripping voltammetry are considered here.
