3D avalanche flow modeling using OpenFOAM
In this paper, a model of a snow avalanche was created with the help of open source CFD software OpenFOAM. The avalanche is considered as a turbulent two-phase flow - snow and air. We take incompressible Herschel-Balkley fluid as a model of snow.

COMPARISON BETWEEN EULERIAN AND VOF MODELS FOR TWO-PHASE FLOW ASSESSMENT IN VERTICAL PIPES
The appropriate characterization of the two-phase flow has been recently considered as a topic of interest at industrial level. The Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) is one of the techniques used for this analysis.

Abstract Simulating complex hydraulic conditions, particularly two-phase flows over spillway chutes, can be achieved with high accuracy using three-dimensional numerical models. This study investigates the potential for vacuum generation and cavitation phenomena on the Aghchai Dam service spillway through numerical simulations conducted

A sub-grid mix model based on a volume-of-fluids (VOF) representation is described for computational simulations of the transient mixing between reactive fluids, in which the atomically mixed components enter into the reactivity. The multi-fluid model allows each fluid species to have independent values for density, energy, pressure and temperature, as
