Classification of Boolean algebras through von Neumann regular C∞−rings [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper, we introduce the concept of a “von Neumann regular C∞-ring”, which is a model for a specific equational theory. We delve into the characteristics of these rings and demonstrate that each Boolean space can be effectively represented as the ...

Normal subgroups of the general linear groups over von Neumann regular rings [PDF]

open access: yes, 1986
Let A A be a von Neumann regular ring or, more generally, let A A be an associative ring with 1 whose reduction modulo its Jacobson radical is von Neumann regular. We obtain a complete description of all subgroups of

All‐in‐One Analog AI Hardware: On‐Chip Training and Inference with Conductive‐Metal‐Oxide/HfOx ReRAM Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
An all‐in‐one analog AI accelerator is presented, enabling on‐chip training, weight retention, and long‐term inference acceleration. It leverages a BEOL‐integrated CMO/HfOx ReRAM array with low‐voltage operation (<1.5 V), multi‐bit capability over 32 states, low programming noise (10 nS), and near‐ideal weight transfer.

Two New Types of Rings Constructed from Quasiprime Ideals

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2011
Keigher showed that quasi-prime ideals in differential commutative rings are analogues of prime ideals in commutative rings. In that direction, he introduced and studied new types of differential rings using quasi-prime ideals of a differential ring.

Finite homomorphic images of Bezout duo-domains

open access: yesKarpatsʹkì Matematičnì Publìkacìï, 2014
It is proved that for a quasi-duo Bezout ring of stable range 1 the duo-ring condition is equivalent to being an elementary divisor ring. As an application of this result a couple of useful properties are obtained for finite homomorphic images of Bezout ...

Intermediate Resistive State in Wafer‐Scale Vertical MoS2 Memristors Through Lateral Silver Filament Growth for Artificial Synapse Applications

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
In MOCVD MoS2 memristors, a current compliance‐regulated Ag filament mechanism is revealed. The filament ruptures spontaneously during volatile switching, while subsequent growth proceeds vertically through the MoS2 layers and then laterally along the van der Waals gaps during nonvolatile switching.

Embeddings of the maximal quotient ring of a von Neumann regular ring into its completion with respect to a rank function [PDF]

open access: yes, 1988
Let R R be a commutative von Neumann regular ring. A pseudorank function on R R is characterized by a probability measure on the spectrum of R R . We exhibit two commutative von Neumann regular rings

Solution‐Processed Two‐Dimensional Indium Oxide on Sodium‐Embedded Alumina for Reconfigurable Optoelectronic Synaptic Transistors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Wafer‐scale two‐dimensioanl In2Se3 oxidized into InOx on sodium‐embedded beta‐alumina enables multifunctional reconfigurable electronics. Sodium ions accumulate within distinct spatial distribution under drain‐controlle and gate‐controlled operation. Drain‐control operation gives controllability of ultraviolet‐driven optoelectronic synaptic conductance

On the locally functionally countable subalgebra of C(X) on locally functionally countable subalgebra of C(X)

open access: yesApplied General Topology, 2015
Let $C_c(X)=\{f\in C(X) : |f(X)|\leq \aleph_0\}$, $C^F(X)=\{f\in C(X): |f(X)|

Regular rings and integral extension of a regular ring [PDF]

open access: yes, 1972
In this paper we show that a ring (not necessarily commutative) with identity element and without nonzero nilpotent elements is a von Neumann regular ring if every completely prime ideal is a maximal right ideal.
