Minimum Inhibitory Concentrations of Anidulafungin as a Potential Predictor of Biocide Susceptibility of Clade 1 Candidozyma (Candida) auris Isolates

open access: yesMicrobiologyOpen, Volume 14, Issue 5, October 2025.
Our study shows that a decision tree trained on antifungal MIC profiles, especially anidulafungin, can predict how susceptible Candida auris is to triclosan, chlorine, and chlorhexidine. This shows a possible way to cut down on routine biocide testing in infection control surveillance. ABSTRACT Candidozyma (Candida) auris is a multidrug‐resistant yeast

Bezlotoxumab as Treatment for Recurrent/Chronic Clostridioides difficile Infection in Pediatric Stem Cell Transplant Recipients: A Multi‐Institutional Experience

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, Volume 72, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) represents a significant health risk to pediatric stem cell transplant (SCT) patients. In these patients, recurrent CDI is common, requiring prolonged antibiotic usage and increased hospitalization. Bezlotoxumab, a monoclonal antibody that targets the toxin responsible for CDI, has demonstrated efficacy

Utility of BioFire FilmArray Pneumonia Panel Plus in a High‐Risk Cohort: Children Post Allogeneic Stem Cell Transplantation

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, Volume 72, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Introduction Pulmonary complications due to infection contribute significantly to post‐haematopoietic stem cell transplant (HCT) morbidity and mortality. Standard microbiological investigations, when performed on bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid, can take days to weeks to confirm a diagnosis.

Real‐World Characterization of Psychiatric Pharmacogenomic Test Ordering and Clinical Relevance in Adults and Children

open access: yesClinical and Translational Science, Volume 18, Issue 10, October 2025.
ABSTRACT Pharmacogenomic (PGx) testing is increasingly utilized to guide psychiatric medication selection and dosing, yet real‐world characterizations of test ordering and clinical implications remain understudied. Additionally, the extent to which psychiatry‐focused PGx results inform prescribing beyond mental health medications is unclear. This study
