Helicity and vortex generation [PDF]
In this paper we have continued the calculations made recently concerning he generalization of the minimal coupling prescription. We have obtained the Navier-Stokes equation for the charged fluid embedded into an electromagnetic field. We have analyzed the wave feature of the fields.

Fin and tube heat exchangers use gas as a cooling/heating medium on the fin side. The low thermal conductivity of gases results in high thermal resistance, which results in a low rate of heat transfer.

Design of Solar-powered Endurance Glider with Vortex Generators [PDF]
The research aims at designing a solar endurance glider for an increased flight time. The constraints for design include reduction in weight compared to a typical glider and improving its aerodynamic performance by application of vortex generators on its

Abstract Vortex generating jets (VGJs) are jets that pass through a wall and into a crossflow to create a dominant streamwise vortex that remains embedded in the boundary layer over the wall. The VGJ is characterized by its pitch and skew angles (Φ and Θ) and the velocity ratio (VR) between the jet and the crossflow. For VR=1.0, the VGJ configuration

Generation of Nonlinear Vortex Precursors
We numerically study the propagation of a few-cycle pulse carrying orbital angular momentum (OAM) through a dense atomic system. Nonlinear precursors consisting of high-order vortex har- monics are generated in the transmitted field due to ultrafast Bloch oscillation.

Generalized helical vortex pairs [PDF]
New solutions describing the interaction of helical pairs of counter-rotating vortices are obtained using a vortex filament approach. The vortices are assumed to have a small core size allowing the calculation of the self-induced velocities from the Biot–Savart law using the cutoff theory. These new vortex structures do not possess any helical symmetry
