Power Flow of Electric Dipole Radiation Extinction in an Absorbing Host Medium
We have studied the extinction power flow for a dipole in a laser beam, and embedded in a dissipating medium. The power flows along the field lines of the Poynting vector.

The MRP4 transporter exports several drugs and signaling molecules. Here, we identified key promoter elements regulating basal MRP4 expression. Using reporter assays, we defined a conserved region with essential Sp1 and contributory Ets sites, which controlled basal MRP4 expression.

Motion of vortices in type II superconductors [PDF]
The methods of formal asymptotics are used to examine the behaviour of a system of curvilinear vortices in a type II superconductor as the thickness of the vortex cores tends to zero.

Physical Modeling of Structure and Dynamics of Concentrated, Tornado-like Vortices (A Review)
Physical modeling is essential for developing the theory of concentrated, tornado-like vortices. Physical modeling data are crucial for interpreting real tornado field measurements and mathematical modeling data.

Time‐restricted feeding (TRF) in mice increased liver fatty acid oxidation and decreased fatty acid biosynthesis. These alterations persisted when TRF was discontinued and the host was infected with Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Pre‐exposure to TRF did not alter tissue (lung and spleen) mycobacterial burden but significantly reduced CD3+ T cells in lungs

Numerical Simulation of Variable-Speed Propulsion Characteristics of Bionic Undulating Fins
The hydrodynamic performance of bionic undulating fin robots is crucial for their precise control. This paper investigated the hydrodynamic response mechanism of the undulating fin during acceleration and deceleration through numerical simulation ...
