Direct Imaging by SDO AIA of Quasi-periodic Fast Propagating Waves of ~2000 km/s in the Low Solar Corona

open access: yes, 2011
Quasi-periodic, propagating fast mode magnetosonic waves in the corona were difficult to observe in the past due to relatively low instrument cadences. We report here evidence of such waves directly imaged in EUV by the new SDO AIA instrument.

A Search for Water in the Atmosphere of HAT-P-26b Using LDSS-3C [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
The characterization of a physically-diverse set of transiting exoplanets is an important and necessary step towards establishing the physical properties linked to the production of obscuring clouds or hazes.

Field‐Directed Growth of Hematite for Advanced Solar Hydrogen Production

open access: yesAdvanced Energy and Sustainability Research, Volume 7, Issue 1, January 2026.
Magnetic field‐assisted chemical vapor deposition enables controlled anisotropic growth of hematite nanostructures, boosting photoelectrochemical performance and ensuring 100 h stability for solar water oxidation reaction. This study employs photoelectrochemistry not only as a performance metric but also as a probing tool to reveal how magnetic field ...

Local sensitivity analysis of a supercritical extraction model

open access: yesThe Canadian Journal of Chemical Engineering, Volume 104, Issue 1, Page 312-327, January 2026.
Abstract This study investigates the process of chamomile oil extraction from chamomile flowers. A parameter‐distributed model, consisting of a set of partial differential equations, was used to describe the governing mass transfer phenomena between solid and fluid phases under supercritical conditions using carbon dioxide as the solvent.

Non-searching methods of frequency finding on example of the interference frequency finder [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017

Transverse waves in coronal flux tubes with thick boundaries: The effect of longitudinal flows

open access: yes, 2019
Observations show that transverse magnetohydrodynamic (MHD) waves and flows are often simultaneously present in magnetic loops of the solar corona.

VPH

open access: yes, 2011

Clinical and functional outcomes of arthroscopic autologous collagen‐induced chondrogenesis (ACIC) for osteochondral lesions of the talus: A retrospective case series

open access: yesJournal of Experimental Orthopaedics, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2026.
Abstract Purpose The aim of this retrospective study was to assess the clinical outcomes for osteochondral lesions of the talus (OLT) treated with all arthroscopic autologous collagen‐induced chondrogenesis (ACIC) technique using an injectable collagen scaffold combined with microfractures.
