CIRCULAR FRACTAL MONOPOLE ANTENNA FOR LOW VSWR UWB APPLICATIONS [PDF]
A new circular ultra-wideband fractal monopole antenna based on descartes circle theorem (DCT) with elliptical iterations is presented. The proposed fractal design is optimized for return loss below −15 dB. The basic structure is slightly modified to ensure an overall smooth current distribution limited by the junction point nature of the fractal ...

Simulation and Measurements of VSWR for Microwave Communication Systems
Nowadays, microwave frequency systems, in many applications are used. Regardless of the application, all microwave communication systems are faced with transmission line matching problem, related to the load or impedance connected to them. The mismatching of microwave lines with the load connected to them generates reflected waves.

Analyzing Troubleshooting of BTS Transmit Power and 4G LTE Coverage Area via VSWR Value Measurement
The Voltage Standing Wave Ratio (VSWR) serves as a comparative measure between transmitter and receiver voltages, impacting site transmit power. VSWR values at a Radio Base Station (RBS) are evident in feeder cable losses, jumpers, combiners, and radio ...

A Low VSWR 2SB Schottky Receiver [PDF]
A novel high performance waveguide integrated sideband separating (2SB) Schottky receiver operating in the 320-360 GHz band is presented. The unique receiver design is based on a core of two subharmonic Schottky diode mixers with embedded LNA's with a minimum noise figure of 1.8 dB, fed by LO and RF quadrature hybrids.
