Genotypic study of verocytotoxic Escherichia coli isolates from deer by multiplex polymerase chain reaction [PDF]

open access: yesVeterinary World, 2016
Aim: This study was planned to study the genotypes of verocytotoxigenic Escherichia coli (VTEC) in fecal samples of deer due to its public health significance.

Molecular Detection of Verotoxigenic Escherichia coli (VTEC) from Animal Feces for Screening VTEC-shedders

open access: yesAsian-Australasian Journal of Animal Sciences, 2004
Seventy-six animals including cattle, sheep, horses, 6 species of zoo animals were employed for collection of fresh feces in order to detect verotoxigenic Esherichia coli (VTEC) by safe, quick and sensitive PCR-based molecular methods. Bacterial cell disruption with bead-beating followed by bacterial DNA purification with hydroxyapatide chromatography ...

Multi‐Step Gravity Wave Propagation From a Tropospheric Vortex to the Ionosphere Near the Tibetan Plateau

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 53, Issue 11, 16 June 2026.
Abstract The atmosphere and ionosphere form a vertically coupled system in which disturbances in the lower atmosphere can modulate ionospheric variability. Using reanalysis data, ground‐based GNSS observations, and COSMIC‐2 profiles, we investigate gravity waves (GWs) generation and upward coupling during a southwest vortex (SWV) event over the Tibetan

Verocytotoxin-producing Escherichia coli (VTEC) O157 and other VTEC from human infections in England and Wales: 1995–1998 [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Medical Microbiology, 2001
A total of 3429 isolations of verocytotoxin-producing Escherichia coli O157 (VTEC O157) was confirmed from human sources in England and Wales during the period 1995-1998. The largest annual total was 1087 in 1997. Most infections occurred in the third quarter of each year.

VTEC observations of intense geomagnetic storms above Nepal: comparison with satellite data, CODE and IGSG models

open access: yes, 2022
International audienceIn each period, there are quiet geomagnetic days and intense geomagnetic stormy days. The VTEC observed during these periods has observed both positive and negative ionospheric storms.

An Integrated Engine Control Unit for a Spark Ignited Internal Combustion Engine

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 6, June 2026.
This study proposes an FPGA‐based integrated engine control unit (IECU) that combines ECU and valve control functions. It introduces a piston‐direction sensor for synchronization, supports variable timing for key‐cylinder events, enables high‐resolution virtual crank‐angle timing, and implements adaptive rule‐based control to improve real‐time engine ...

VTEC O157 hos får [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011

Height‐Dependent Evolution of the Ionospheric Response to the May 2024 Superstorm: Global GNSS‐POD, GNSS‐RO, and Ground‐Based Observations

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract Capturing global ionospheric response during extreme geomagnetic storms remains a major observational challenge. During 10–11 May, 2024 superstorm, we investigate the height‐dependent response of the F‐region using multi‐constellation GNSS‐POD limb‐sounding measurements from COSMIC‐2, Spire, PlanetiQ, and FengYun‐3 satellites. Approximately 12,

Variation of Total Electron Content (TEC) in the Quite and Disturbed days and their correlation with Geomagnetic Parameters of Lamjung Station in the year of 2015

open access: yesBibechana, 2020
Total Electron content is measured using a dual frequency GPS receiver in Lamgung (LMJG) Station located at 84.57° longitude and 28.17° latitude of the year 2015 as it is considered as geo-magnetically active year.

Ionosphere‐Thermosphere Responses to the March 2023 Geomagnetic Storm Using Observations and TIEGCM Simulations Driven by Data Assimilated Aurora and Electric Fields

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 6, June 2026.
Abstract We investigate Ionosphere‐Thermosphere (IT) responses to the March 2023 geomagnetic storm using GOLD and PFISR observations, along with TIEGCM simulations driven by data‐assimilated aurora and electric fields. A Lattice Kriging approach is implemented to assimilate auroral electron flux and characteristic energy from ground‐based (THEMIS/ASIs)
