Case report: Biliary peritonitis following wallstent insertion
Clinical Radiology, 1993A case is described of biliary peritonitis following insertion of a Wallstent endoprosthesis. Features of the case that may have contributed to this complication are described and methods of preventing such an outcome discussed.

The deployment of the stent from the covering membrane is a relatively complicated mechanism susceptible to trouble. Sometimes the deployment of the stent from the catheter fails and the incompletely deployed stent has to be removed and rejected.

European Surgery, 1994Palliative endoskopische Interventionen konnen heute mit grosem Erfolg zur Verbesserung der Lebensqualitat der individuellen Patienten eingesetzt werden. Die Laservaporisation von malignen Osophagusstenosen fuhrt in uber 80% der Falle zu einer raschen Passagewiederherstellung. Die Komplikationsrate der Methode ist auserst gering.

The Wallstent experience: 1986–1990
1993Coronary stenting has been investigated as an adjunct to percutaneous trans-luminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) to obviate the problems of early occlusion and late restenosis. From March 1986—March 1990, 265 patients (308 lesions) were implanted with the coronary WallstentTM in six European centers.
