Mitochondrial DNA mutations are associated with impaired oxidative phosphorylation and enhanced imatinib response in chronic myeloid leukemia

Abstract Mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) mutations are frequently observed in cancer, but their clinical and functional significance in chronic myeloid leukemia (CML) remains incompletely defined.
