Splenic autotransplantation in a patient with human immunodeficiency virus infection: a case report [PDF]
Introduction Splenectomy is performed mostly because of traumatic events that cause rupture of the spleen. Postsplenectomy, a patient has a higher risk of developing sepsis.

An autologous whole‐tumor‐cell vaccine (rWTC‐MBTA) is evaluated in murine CNS lymphoma. Subcutaneous vaccination activates dendritic cells, broadens T‐cell priming, and drives lymphocyte trafficking to brain tumors, producing durable tumor control. Longitudinal bioluminescence and adoptive‐transfer assays verify CNS engagement. Combination with anti‐PD‐

Wandering Spleen with Splenic Vein Thrombosis: A Case Report [PDF]
A wandering spleen is a rare clinical occurrence with fewer than 500 cases reported and an incidence of less than 0.2%1, 2. The spleen is an important component of the reticuloendothelial system, which is involved in immunological defence and can serve ...

Improved Systemic Immunochemotherapy Employing an Oxaliplatin‐TLR7/8 Agonist Prodrug Strategy
A platinum(IV) prodrug is developed to systemically deliver the TLR7/8 agonist gardiquimod. Tumor‐targeting is mediated by an albumin‐binding maleimide, which limits premature complex activation. Ox‐Gardi‐Mal accumulates specifically in the tumor, where it activates the immune system.

The spleen is rather firmly attached in the left upper quadrant by five ligaments or peritoneal reflections. With congenital failure or acquired laxity of these attachments, the genital failure or acquired laxity of these attachments, the spleen acquires a true vascular pedicle and becomes mobile. This rare condition, called wandering spleen, makes the

A Nanoparticle‐Integrated Complete Manufacturing Pipeline of Chemically Engineered Exosomes
We report a novel manufacture technology of chemically engineered exosomes. The four steps of manufacturing, i.e., biogenesis, loading, isolation, and storage, are integrated by the use of a nanoparticle. The manufacture technology incorporates three innovative components, i.e., a new nano‐bio effect, a new composite nanoparticle, and a new isolation ...

An iron‐based nanozyme selectively eliminates intratumoral P. anaerobius while catalytically generating ROS to induce ferroptosis, synergistically suppressing colorectal cancer growth and activating anti‐tumor immunity through immunogenic cell death. ABSTRACT The intratumoral microbiota is a critical determinant of therapeutic outcomes in colorectal ...

An atomically precise Cu14 cluster‐mediated bond scission reaction pioneers the amplification of the antitumor immune response via synergetic cuproptosis‐associated immunogenic cell death induction and in situ autophagy blockade. ABSTRACT Transition metal‐mediated cleavage mechanisms have emerged as an effective means to mitigate the off‐target ...
