Full cells pairing NMC811 cathodes with graphite, prelithiated SiOx, and Li‐metal anodes are cycled at 45 °C to investigate how anode reactivity influences the cathode surface composition. Electrochemical and surface characterization techniques reveal that anodes with unstable solid‐electrolyte interphases increase cathode degradation through cathode ...

Fabrication of Composite Cathode for All‐Solid‐State Sodium Batteries
The design of composite cathodes for all‐solid‐state sodium batteries must address three critical challenges—interfacial side reactions, interfacial delamination, and highly tortuous transport pathways. This work outlines structural and interfacial strategies to optimize ion transport and mechanical stability, enabling durable, and high‐performance ...

Dendrite Formation and Self‐Healing Mechanism in Ionic Liquid‐Based Magnesium Batteries
This graphical illustration highlights the importance of operating Mg batteries within a safe operating current density (SOCD) range. Beyond this range, Mg batteries are susceptible to dendrite formation. However, when cycling a dendritic cell with a highly thermally stable electrolyte, a self‐heating effect occurs.
