Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

THE WARBURG INSTITUTE AND ARCHITECTURAL HISTORY
At first sight, classical architecture, with its continuous revivals and reworking of the forms of Greek and Roman building, would appear to offer a privileged field in which to apply Warburg's central notion of the survival of classical forms (Nachleben der Antike) and his view of art history's unfolding as a process of remembrance (or Mnemosyne). Yet

Modeling cancer metabolism on a genome scale [PDF]
Cancer cells have fundamentally altered cellular metabolism that is associated with their tumorigenicity and malignancy. In addition to the widely studied Warburg effect, several new key metabolic alterations in cancer have been established over the last

This study presents a reversible temperature sensor with high switching ratio, ∼103. The device is fabricated using PET‐ITO and carbon nanotube dispersions in alkane. Considering its application in cold chain logistics, a proof‐of‐concept with LED is showcased. Thus, a temperature drop below the threshold temperature (crystallization temperature of the

The corrosion performance of AlSi7Mg and AlSi10Mg alloys produced through selective laser melting (SLM) was examined under compressive stress in a chloride environment. Electrochemical analyses, including open‐circuit potential (OCP), potentiodynamic polarization (CPP), and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS), were complemented by scanning ...

A hierarchical porous copper current collector is fabricated via three‐dimensional printing combined with pressureless sintering to stabilize lithium metal anodes. The interconnected architecture lowers local current density, guides uniform Li deposition within pores, and suppresses dendrite growth.

Laser‐Induced Graphene from Waste Almond Shells
Almond shells, an abundant agricultural by‐product, are repurposed to create a fully bioderived almond shell/chitosan composite (ASC) degradable in soil. ASC is converted into laser‐induced graphene (LIG) by laser scribing and proposed as a substrate for transient electronics.

Uncovering the dynamics and consequences of RNA isoform changes during neuronal differentiation
Static gene expression programs have been extensively characterized in stem cells and mature human cells. However, the dynamics of RNA isoform changes upon cell-state-transitions during cell differentiation, the determinants and functional consequences ...
