Constraining Warm Dark Matter and Population III Stars with the Global 21 cm Signal [PDF]

open access: yesAstrophysical Journal, 2022
Upcoming ground- and space-based experiments may have sufficient accuracy to place significant constraints upon high-redshift star formation, Reionization, and dark matter (DM) using the global 21 cm signal of the intergalactic medium.

Decaying Warm Dark Matter and Neutrino Masses [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review Letters, 2007
Neutrino masses may arise from spontaneous breaking of ungauged lepton number. Due to quantum gravity effects the associated Goldstone boson - the majoron - will pick up a mass. We determine the lifetime and mass required by cosmic microwave background observations so that the massive majoron provides the observed dark matter of the Universe.

Warm Dark Matter Galaxies with Central Supermassive Black Holes

open access: yesUniverse, 2022
We generalize the Thomas–Fermi approach to galaxy structure to include central supermassive black holes and find, self-consistently and non-linearly, the gravitational potential of the galaxy plus the central black hole (BH) system.

A cosmic degeneracy story: structure formation with warm dark matter and scale-dependent primordial non-Gaussianities [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics
It has been recently shown that cosmological models with scale-dependent primordial non-Gaussianities (sPNG) could provide a possible path to solve current cosmic tensions.

A Study of Warm Dark Matter, the Missing Satellites Problem, and the UV Luminosity Cut-Off [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Astronomy and Astrophysics International Journal of Astronomy and Astrophysics, 2022
In the warm dark matter scenario, the Press-Schechter formalism is valid only for galaxy masses greater than the"velocity dispersion cut-off". In this work we extend the predictions to masses below the velocity dispersion cut-off, and thereby address the"

Entering the era of measuring sub-Galactic dark matter structure: Accurate transfer functions for axino, gravitino, and sterile neutrino thermal warm dark matter [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2022
We examine thermal warm dark matter (WDM) models that are being probed by current constraints, and the relationship between the particle dark matter spin and commensurate thermal history.

Warm dark matter constraints using Milky Way satellite observations and subhalo evolution modeling [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2021
Warm dark matter (WDM) can potentially explain small-scale observations that currently challenge the cold dark matter (CDM) model, as warm particles suppress structure formation due to free-streaming effects.

Inverse seesaw model with a modular S 4 symmetry: lepton flavor mixing and warm dark matter [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics, 2021
In this paper, we present a systematic investigation on simple inverse seesaw models for neutrino masses and flavor mixing based on the modular S 4 symmetry.
