Namaste (counterbalancing) technique: Overcoming warping in costal cartilage
Background: Indian noses are broader and lack projection as compared to other populations, hence very often need augmentation, that too by large volume.

Cloud-Edge Suppression for Visual Outdoor Navigation
Outdoor environments pose multiple challenges for the visual navigation of robots, like changing illumination conditions, seasonal changes, dynamic environments and non-planar terrain. Illumination changes are mostly caused by the movement of the Sun and

Accretion discs are generally warped. If a warp in a disc is too large, the disc can `break' apart into two or more distinct planes, with only tenuous connections between them. Further if an initially planar disc is subject to a strong differential precession, then it can be torn apart into discrete annuli that precess effectively independently.

Analysis and application of digital spectral warping in analog and mixed-signal testing [PDF]
Spectral warping is a digital signal processing transform which shifts the frequencies contained within a signal along the frequency axis. The Fourier transform coefficients of a warped signal correspond to frequency-domain 'samples' of the original ...

ABSTRACT Objective The cervical spinal cord (cSC) is highly relevant to clinical dysfunction in multiple sclerosis (MS) but remains understudied using quantitative magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We assessed magnetization transfer ratio (MTR), a semi‐quantitative MRI measure sensitive to MS‐related tissue microstructural changes, in the cSC and its ...

ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxias (SCAs) are a group of genetically heterogeneous neurodegenerative diseases causing progressive deterioration and reduced quality of life. Therapeutic advances have been limited by a lack of sensitive anatomic, functional, or diffusion imaging‐based biomarkers.
