Video Frame Interpolation Based on Symmetric and Asymmetric Motions
Video frame interpolation is the task to synthesize intermediate frames between consecutive frames to increase the frame rate. Recently, various deep-learning techniques have been proposed to interpolate intermediate frames more reliably.

This study presents rapid evaluation methods for scan strategies in powder bed fusion (PBF) of polymers with a NIR laser as an example for its application. It uses line buffer‐based calculations and point density fields to predict the performance of four different scan strategies. The methods show promising results in laser‐based PBF of polymer samples,

Warped-like product manifolds with exceptional holonomy groups [PDF]
In this paper we review $G_2$ and $Spin(7)$ geometries in relation with a special type of metric structure which we call warped-like product metric. We present a general ansatz of warped-like product metric as a definition of warped-like product. Considering fiber-base decomposition, the definition of warped-like product is regarded as a generalization

This study investigates the mechanical properties of Carbon/Aramid intraply hybrid fiber‐reinforced Elium composites under 6 months of water aging. After aging, flexural strength decreases by 25.89%, tensile strength by 4.40%, and fracture toughness by 21.56%.

Magnetic torque oscillations from warped helical surface states in topological insulators
A magnetic torque method is proposed that probes the warping and mass gap of Dirac cone surface states in topological insulators like Bi2X3 (X=Se,Te). A rotating field parallel to the surface induces a paramagnetic moment in the helical surface states ...

Namaste (counterbalancing) technique: Overcoming warping in costal cartilage
Background: Indian noses are broader and lack projection as compared to other populations, hence very often need augmentation, that too by large volume.

Polygonal finite element-based content-aware image warping
Mesh-based image warping techniques typically represent image deformation using linear functions on triangular meshes or bilinear functions on rectangular meshes. This enables simple and efficient implementation, but in turn, restricts the representation

An Efficient Method for Document Correction Based on Checkerboard Calibration Pattern
Portable digital devices such as PDAs and camera phones are the easiest and most widely used methods to preserve and collect information. Capturing a document image using this method always has warping issues, especially when capturing pages from a book ...

Residual Stress States in Microstructurally Graded PBF–LB/M Austenitic Steel Components
This study examines microstructurally graded 316L rectangular tube profiles fabricated via PBF–LB/M using a dual‐laser system. A 1 kW top‐hat and a 400 W Gaussian laser create distinct grain sizes and crystallographic texture. Mechanical properties are linked to microstructural evolution driven by processing conditions.

Ultrahigh‐molecular‐weight polyethylene powders (<≈40 μm) with a bulk density of 260 g L−1 are prepared from a silica supported bisimine pyridine iron catalyst. The nascent product is disentangled and can be thermally densified without loss of its low viscosity.
