The warping degree of a link diagram [PDF]
For an oriented link diagram D, the warping degree d(D) is the smallest number of crossing changes which are needed to obtain a monotone diagram from D. We show that d(D)+d(-D)+sr(D) is less than or equal to the crossing number of D, where -D denotes the

Rapid Deep Vat Printing Using Photoclickable Collagen‐Based Bioresins
Collagen‐based resin formulations based on thiol‐ene photoclick chemistry are demonstrated. These resins enable easy handleability under neutral conditions and further allow facile fabrication of multicellular tissue constructs via tomographic or FLight printing.

The large-scale warps of disk galaxies remain a challenge for theorists. Recent speculations about their origins or longevity have tended to focus on the possible benefits of halos. After some remarks about modes, this review will do likewise. It will conclude that any applause even there can as yet be only scattered rather than thunderous.

Textile Encoding Inspired by Langer Lines via Elastically Graded Embroidered Tessellations
A standard embroidery machine can encode skin‐like directional mechanics into stretchable fabrics that, when worn, augment the wearer's skin. Zigzag stitch patterns, inspired by skin collagen structure, pack extra slack in threads that, when tessellated, mimic Langer lines.

How to Train Your Dragon: Tamed Warping Network for Semantic Video Segmentation
Real-time semantic segmentation on high-resolution videos is challenging due to the strict requirements of speed. Recent approaches have utilized the inter-frame continuity to reduce redundant computation by warping the feature maps across adjacent ...

GPU-accelerated raster map reprojection
Reprojecting raster maps from one projection to another is an essential part of many cartographic processes (map comparison, overlays, data presentation, ...) and reducing the required computational time is desirable and often significantly decreases ...

This study presents an implantable reinforced cardiac patch (RCPatch) combining volumetrically 3D‐printed metamaterials with melt‐electrowritten (MEW) meshes. The design integrates tunable stiff polymer structures with soft, cell‐laden hydrogels. The RCPatch withstands suturing, intraventricular pressure, and cardiac contraction in a large animal ...
