Thermal Characteristics of Spindle Supported with Water-Lubricated Hydrostatic Bearings
Characteristics of a spindle supported with water-lubricated hydrostatic bearings were experimentally investigated. In particular, this paper focuses on the thermal characteristics of the spindle. The flowrates of water as the lubricating fluid were measured separately for the radial and thrust bearings, in relation to the supply pressure.

An adhesive hydrogel depot with polyphenol‐armored nanogenes is developed for treating aged osteoarthritis. This system maintains miR‐140 bioactivity, prolongs its intra‐articular retention, and enhances transfection into chondrocytes, leading to the downregulation of senescence‐associated pathways.

Magnetomechanical neuromodulation using magnetic nanodiscs enables remote activation of neurons. In a hemiparkinsonian mouse model, alternating magnetic fields actuate the nanodiscs to generate torque that opens mechanosensitive ion channels within the subthalamic nucleus, thereby modulating basal ganglia motor circuitry.
