The water jet pump, when designed with experimentally obtained optimum dimensions, can achieve efficiencies in the range of 35% to 40%. The design depends on the selected nozzles and diffuser, as well as the other parts of the pump, so that the hydraulic losses incurred are kept to a minimum.

2006The technique of water-jet liposuction is a safe, gentle and targeted method to remove subcutaneous fat build-ups. It offers a very good way for molding the tissue during the operation.
