Printed Flexible WO3‐Based Supercapacitors for Powering Low‐Powered Electronics in Wearable Devices and Energy Autonomous Temperature Monitoring

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
This study represents one of the systematic demonstrations of a screen‐printed, flexible WO3‐based supercapacitor, exhibiting excellent charge‐storage performance for powering wearable electronics. The device shows a specific capacitance of 3.44 F g−1 and an energy density of 0.302 Wh kg−1 at 0.05 mA, which enable to operate multiple wearable ...

Sprinklers with a rotating nozzle that is driven by a water current are commonly used in gardens. Many of these sprinklers sprinkle water over a circular or fan-shaped area in a garden. For common gardens that are not circular or fan-shaped, these sprinklers cannot sprinkle water over the entire garden area without sprinkling the immediate surroundings,

Water Jet Angioplasty — an Experimental Study

Acta Radiologica, 1995
The usefulness and safety of water jet angioplasty was studied in vitro, using agar phantom and autopsied aorta, and in vivo in acute and chronic arterial occlusions in mongrel dogs. At an injection rate of 1.0 ml/s, the water jet produced erosion of the agar surface when the distance between the catheter and the agar was 1 mm.

Turning of wood plastic composites by water jet and abrasive water jet

The International Journal of Advanced Manufacturing Technology, 2015
The paper deals with the verification of suitability of water jet and abrasive water jet application for the disintegration of rotating samples of wood plastic composites (WPCs) with diameter d = 36 mm. The influence of selected technological factors (traverse speed of cutting head v [mm/min] and size of abrasive particles [MESH]) on the topography of ...

Technology of water-jet dissection

Minimally Invasive Therapy & Allied Technologies, 2002
For about 20 years, water-jet dissection has been used as a surgical technique. Due to the development of suitable instruments, devices, and operation strategies, water-jet dissection is becoming increasingly interesting for applications, especially for dissections where the atraumatical and/or tissueselective preparation or separation of tissue ...

Water Jet-Assisted Liposuction

2006
The technique of water-jet liposuction is a safe, gentle and targeted method to remove subcutaneous fat build-ups. It offers a very good way for molding the tissue during the operation. Apart from the solution for the water jet no additional drugs are required; therefore, drug-related side effects are not to be expected.

Water Jet Pump

Journal of the Hydraulics Division, 1964
The water jet pump, when designed with experimentally obtained optimum dimensions, can achieve efficiencies in the range of 35% to 40%. The design depends on the selected nozzles and diffuser, as well as the other parts of the pump, so that the hydraulic losses incurred are kept to a minimum.

Water Jet Machining

2012
Water jet drilling, in spite of its advantages of no tool wear and thermal damage, often creates delamination in composite laminate at bottom. An analytical approach to study the delamination during drilling by water jet piercing is presented. This model predicts an optimal water jet pressure for no delamination as a function of hole depth and material
