A Compact and Fast Single‐Spike TTFS Encoder With Ultralow Operating Voltage for Efficient Neuromorphic Fourier Transform

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A Pt/TaOx/V single‐spike TTFS encoder achieves ultralow‐voltage (∼0.35 V), high‐speed (∼100 ns) operation with simplified circuitry. Integrating bipolar nonuniform temporal encoding with a spiking‐DFT neuron model enables a neuromorphic FFT framework. Device‐calibrated simulations demonstrate high spectral fidelity across multitone, speech, and chirp ...

Unlocking the Full Potential of Jumping Condensation on Microstructured Surfaces

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Microcone arrays exhibit a spacing‐dependent transition between jumping and non‐jumping condensation. Dense microstructures favor full Cassie droplets, which depart cleanly, while wider spacing favors partial Cassie droplets that retain a localized wet region initiating new nucleation. These findings establish a link between microdroplet morphology and

Habitat‐Specific Design Strategies for Untethered Soft Robots

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Habitat shapes the design of untethered soft robots. Across land, water, air, and living tissues, environmental constraints govern viable combinations of compliant structures, actuation mechanisms, and energy delivery. This review connects these constraints with robotic performance and identifies design principles for advancing adaptable, durable, and ...

Molecular Conversion of Thermally Stable Cu‐Ag Networks for Mechanically Robust Printed Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
An air‐processable Cu–Ag reactive ink enables in situ formation of an Ag‐surface‐enriched Cu conductive network. Optimized Ag distribution suppresses Cu oxidation while preserving continuous electrical pathways, allowing printed conductors to achieve high conductivity, reduced migration, and stable operation at extreme temperatures up to 800 °C in air.
