Water Mass Archaeology: Tracing water masses to the surface
WP5 investigates how ice sheet meltwater discharge affects deep water formation, pole-to-pole connections, and large-scale ocean circulation, including the AMOC and ACC. It combines new ocean observations, innovative analyses, and modelling approaches to better understand how freshwater influences the global climate system.

Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.
