We present a two‐dimensional conductive metal‐organic framework (2D cMOF) constructed from an organic linker with lower symmetry than those commonly used in related systems. The resulting reduction in lattice symmetry lifts band degeneracies, reshapes the electronic structure, and opens a larger band gap.

A family of amino‐acid–derived MOFs enables ultrafast (>90–95% in 30 s) simultaneous removal of four estrogenic contaminants from water under SPE conditions. A leucine‐based MOF shows excellent regenerability and robustness in real samples, with structural evidence revealing efficient hormone encapsulation.

This publication reviews the process concepts and assessments for converting steel mill gases into sustainable methanol, focusing on energy efficiency, and the regulatory framework. From an energy perspective, the production of methanol from BOFG and H2 separated from coke oven gas is of particular interest.
