Percolation transition in the kinematics of nonlinear resonance broadening in Charney–Hasegawa–Mima model of Rossby wave turbulence [PDF]
We study the kinematics of nonlinear resonance broadening of interacting Rossby waves as modelled by the Charney-Hasegawa-Mima equation on a biperiodic domain. We focus on the set of wave modes which can interact quasi-resonantly at a particular level of

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

A global investigation of solitary-wave solutions to a two-parameter model for water waves [PDF]
The model equation (2r''''/15)-(br'')+(ar)+(3r^2/2)-((r')^2/2)+[rr']'=0 arises as the equation for solitary-wave solutions to a fifth-order long-wave equation for gravitycapillary water waves.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

Reflection and transmission of nonlinear water waves at a semi-submerged dock
A theoretical approach is applied to predict reflection and transmission of nonlinear water waves at a semi-submerged dock. The solution was achieved analytically and by the method of matched eigenfunction expansions.

Locality and causality properties of light cone string field theory [PDF]
The recent discovery of a new maximally supersymmetric background for the type IIB superstring theory has revived the interest in light cone string field theory.

A flexure‐based variable stiffness structure is developed by integrating phase‐change modulation and adhesive interfacial locking of gallium. The design enables a wide stiffness variability, transitioning from soft, flexible behavior to rigid, load‐supporting performance.

Mg–Zn composites with a thickness of 0.21 mm were fabricated using roll bonding of a kirigami‐patterned Mg alloy inlay within a Zn matrix. Thermal activation following this process led to the formation of tailored intermetallic structures, which provided the composite with enhanced flexural strength.

String/Gauge Duality and Penrose Limit [PDF]
Berenstein, Maldacena, and Nastase have recently discovered a particular limit of AdS/CFT correspondence where string theory in a plane wave background is dual to a sector of $mathcal N =4 SYM in a double scaling limit.

A simplified thermoplastic pultrusion model is developed to predict thermal fields in glass fiber/polyethylene terephthalate (GF/PET) composites with reduced computational cost. By combining effective material homogenization, validation against literature data, and Gaussian‐process‐based optimization, the study reveals how heating limits, pulling speed,
