The F Wave and the A Wave

Abstract This chapter considers the difference between the F wave and the A wave. Optimal selection of technique based on the available patient history and physical findings improves the sensitivity of nerve conduction study (NCS). The F wave helps assess motor conduction along the entire length of the peripheral axons.
