Ocean swell within the kinetic equation for water waves [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Effects of wave-wave interactions on ocean swell are studied. Results of extensive simulations of swell evolution within the duration-limited setup for the kinetic Hasselmann equation at long times up to $10^6$ seconds are presented.

Lower Critical Field Hc1(T) and Pairing Symmetry Based on Eilenberger Theory

open access: yes, 2010
We quantitatively estimate different T-dependences of Hc1 between s wave and d wave pairings by Eilenberger theory. The T-dependences of Hc1(T) show quantitative deviation from those in London theory. We also study differences of Hc1(T) between p+ and p-

More about orbitally excited hadrons from lattice QCD

open access: yes, 1992
This is a second paper describing the calculation of spectroscopy for orbitally excited states from lattice simulations of Quantum Chromodynamics. New features include higher statistics for P-wave systems and first results for the spectroscopy of D-wave ...

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Secondary Waves, and/or the "Reflection" From and "Transmission" Through a Coronal Hole of an EUV Wave Associated With the 2011 February 15 X2.2 Flare Observed With SDO/AIA and STEREO/EUVI

open access: yes, 2012
For the first time, the kinematic evolution of a coronal wave over the entire solar surface is studied. Full Sun maps can be made by combining images from the Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory satellites, Ahead and Behind, and the Solar Dynamics ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
