Ocean‐Wave‐Atmosphere Interaction Processes in a Fully Coupled Modeling System
A high‐resolution coupled ocean‐wave‐atmosphere model (Uppsala University Coupled model, UU‐CM) of the Baltic Sea and the North Sea with improved representation of ocean‐wave‐atmosphere interaction processes is presented.

WAVE AND CURRENT INTERACTIONS IN SHALLOW WATER
Interactions between waves and currents are common and important phenomena in the coastal zone. Coastal currents, such as longshore currents, rip currents, and river flows, can significantly change wave heights and directions of wave propagation. Consequently, the design for shoreline protection measures must be adjusted accordingly.

Elevated Connectivity During Language Processing Is Associated With Cognitive Performance in SeLECTS
ABSTRACT Objective Self‐Limited Epilepsy with Centrotemporal Spikes (SeLECTS) is associated with language impairments despite seizures originating in the motor cortex, suggesting aberrant cross‐network interactions. Here we tested whether functional connectivity in SeLECTS during language tasks predicts language performance.

White Matter Microstructural Abnormalities in Neonatal Onset Genetic Epilepsy
ABSTRACT Objective Recent evidence indicates that epilepsy is associated with abnormal white matter. If seizures alter white matter, then the impact upon network function, epileptogenesis, and cognition could be pronounced in neonates undergoing rapid developmental myelination. Neonates with epilepsy due to nonstructural genetic causes provide a unique

Systemic sclerosis (SSc) is a rare autoimmune disease defined by immune dysregulation, vasculopathy, and progressive fibrosis of the skin and internal organs. Despite advances in care, major complications such as interstitial lung disease (ILD) and myocardial involvement remain the leading causes of morbidity and mortality.

A flexure‐based variable stiffness structure is developed by integrating phase‐change modulation and adhesive interfacial locking of gallium. The design enables a wide stiffness variability, transitioning from soft, flexible behavior to rigid, load‐supporting performance.

Boundary Conditions for 2D Boussinesq-type Wave-Current Interaction Equations
This research focuses on the development of a set of two-dimensional boundary conditions for specific governing equations. The governing equations are existing Boussinesqtype equations which is capable of simulating wave-current interaction.

Wave–Tide–Surge Interaction Modulates Storm Waves in the Bohai Sea
Typhoons, extratropical cyclones, and cold fronts cause strong winds leading to storm surges and waves in the Bohai Sea. A wave–flow coupled numerical model is established for storm events observed in 2022 caused by three weather systems, to investigate ...
