Abstract Millimeter‐level active control of track geometry irregularity (TGI) is crucial for intelligent maintenance of high‐speed railways. To address the efficiency limitations of existing time‐domain characteristics‐dominated TGI maintenance scheme design methods and vehicle–track coupled dynamics evaluation models, this paper proposes a new ...

Global and microlocal aspects of Dirac operators: Propagators and Hadamard states
Abstract We propose a geometric approach to construct the Cauchy evolution operator for the Lorentzian Dirac operator on Cauchy‐compact globally hyperbolic 4‐manifolds. We realize the Cauchy evolution operator as the sum of two invariantly defined oscillatory integrals—the positive and negative Dirac propagators—global in space and in time, with ...

Abstract Foam injection is a prominent technique for mitigating the effects of high gas mobility in porous media for Enhanced Oil Recovery, Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage and well‐stimulation. Experiments reveal that the foam's apparent viscosity exhibits shear‐thinning behavior, meaning its viscosity decreases with superficial velocity.

Abstract Solving the two‐dimensional Shallow Water Equations (SWE) is a fundamental problem in flood simulation technology. In recent years, physics‐informed neural networks (PINNs) have emerged as a novel methodology for addressing this problem. Given their advantages in parallel computing, potential for data assimilation and parameter calibration ...

ABSTRACT In bio‐social models, cooperative behavior has evolved as an adaptive strategy, playing multi‐functional roles. One of such roles in populations is to increase the success of the survival and reproduction of individuals and their families or social groups.
