Wave and flow loads on inclined pipe at different immersion depths

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal, 2022
This paper investigates the force features of inclined pipes under the action of waves and flows through both test and numerical simulation. Firstly, the wave and flow loads on inclined pipes were examined through tests in circulating water flumes. Next,

Fatigue Overview of Ship Structures under Induced Wave Loads

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering
Fatigue damage represents a key failure mode in ship structures. Such damage typically begins at vulnerable points in the structure, like welded joints, stress concentration areas, and cracks. Cyclic loading, particularly from waves, encountered by ships

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.
