Modelling of Transmission Lines Based on Power Waves and Transfer Coefficients
2020 International Conference on Microwave and Millimeter Wave Technology (ICMMT), 2020Transmission line model (TLM) has been widely used in various transmission systems. The traditional TLM takes voltages and currents as unknowns in modelling. In this paper, another modeling idea is proposed, which is named power wave-based transmission line modeling (PW-TLM) and takes power waves as unknowns.

Phase of the transmission coefficient of waves in one-dimensional random media
Journal of the Korean Physical Society, 2012We study the behavior of the phase of the transmission coefficient t in random media by using the invariant imbedding method of wave propagation. We calculate the disorder average of t/t* for waves propagating in one-dimensional random media with uncorrelated Gaussian disorder in a numerically exact manner.

Measurements of reflection and transmission coefficients of Rayleigh waves from cracks
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1984The angle and frequency dependence of reflection and transmission coefficients of Rayleigh waves from surface cracks in titanium has been measured. The measured results are compared to the recently developed theory of Angel and Achenbach [J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 75, 313–319 (1984)]. Very good agreement is obtained between experiment and theory.
