The careful mapping of photoinduced reversible-deactivation radical polymerizations (RDRP) is a prerequisite for their applications in soft matter materials design. Here, we probe the wavelength-dependent behavior of photochemically induced atom transfer radical polymerization (ATRP) using nanosecond pulsed-laser polymerization (PLP). The photochemical

On the biphoton wavelength [PDF]
We report on an experiment showing that the wavelength of a biphoton is clearly dependent on the measurement scheme and on the way it is defined. It is shown that it can take any value, depending on the control of the interferometer phase differences.

The multicast wavelength assignment problem in wavelength-routed wavelength- division multiplexing networks with limited wavelength conversions is addressed. A new multi- wavelength multicast wavelength assignment (MMWA) algorithm has been developed based on the multi-wavelength assignment strategy, by allowing multiple available wavelengths in a link ...

Simulation of Coherent Electromagnetic Waves in Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) Transmission
This study analyzes the application of Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) in fiber optic networks which aims to find the wavelength, WDM optical spectrum and modes, as well as the CPR estimated phase and modes.

Design and simulation of a quantum dot-based optical using selective energy contacts to simultaneous detection of multi-wavelengths [PDF]
In this paper, selective energy contacts are used to design a multi-wavelength optical photodetector. Here, 3D spherical shape quantum dots with quantum well-based energy selective contacts are simulated.

The Third Spectrum of Indium: In III
The present investigation reports on the extended study of the third spectrum of indium (In III). This spectrum was previously analyzed in many articles, but, nevertheless, this study represents a significant extension of the previous analyses.

Wavelength dependence and wavelength selectivity in photochemical reactions
The concepts of wavelength dependence and wavelength selectivity have been commonly used by organic photochemists for a long time. The aim of the present article is to offer a selection of relevant cases where the choice of the irradiation wavelength played a key role in the outcome of a photochemical path.

Resonance Transitions in the Spectra of the Ag6+–Ag8+ Ions
The spectrum of silver, excited in a vacuum spark, was recorded in the region 150–350 Å on a 3-m grazing incidence spectrograph. The resonance 4dk–(4dk−15p + 4dk−14f + 4p54dk+1) was studied in the Ag6+–Ag8+ spectra (Ag VII–Ag IX) with k = 5–3 ...
