Forecasting the Electric Energy Supply in Duhok Province using Proposed Methods Based on Wavelet Analysis and Sarima Methods

open access: yesScience Journal of University of Zakho, 2017
Many applications have been done in the field of using wavelet analysis for time series analysis. In this study, we used the quarterly data of Electric Energy Supply in Duhok Province-Iraq in Megawatt which represents a sample size (46) observations ...

Remote Assessment of Ataxia Severity in SCA3 Across Multiple Centers and Time Points

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Spinocerebellar ataxia type 3 (SCA3) is a genetically defined ataxia. The Scale for Assessment and Rating of Ataxia (SARA) is a clinician‐reported outcome that measures ataxia severity at a single time point. In its standard application, SARA fails to capture short‐term fluctuations, limiting its sensitivity in trials.

A 73‐Year‐Old Man With Several Years of Difficulty Climbing Stairs and Frequent Tripping

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT A 73‐year‐old man presented with progressive weakness and atrophy predominantly affecting the distal finger flexors and quadriceps muscles. Electrophysiological studies demonstrated mixed myogenic and neurogenic features. Muscle MRI showed inflammatory changes, and muscle biopsy revealed granulomatous myositis with histologic features ...

WAVELET ANALYSIS OF 173 SEMI-REGULAR VARIABLES

open access: yesOdessa Astronomical Publications, 2010
We made the wavelet analysis of 173 semi-regular pulsating variable stars of different sub-types. For the analysis, we have used 1,000,000 individual brightness estimates from the published international databases of the VSOLJ (Japan) and AFOEV (France).

Neuroinflammation in GAD65 Antibody‐Associated Epilepsy Measured Using [18F]DPA‐714 PET/MRI

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The timing for initiating immunotherapy in patients with glutamic acid decarboxylase 65 (GAD65) antibody‐associated epilepsy is a challenge. We used the translocator protein radioligand [18F]DPA‐714 and PET to evaluate brain microglial activation.

Assessment of Skin in Patients With Systemic Sclerosis Using High‐Frequency Ultrasound and Shear Wave Elastography: A Comparative Study With Histology, Molecular, and Clinical Parameters

open access: yesArthritis Care &Research, EarlyView.
Objective Ultrasound (US) has been proposed as a potential tool for assessing skin fibrosis in systemic sclerosis (SSc). However, a large‐scale comparison of US‐based assessment with histologic markers of skin fibrosis has not been reported. We evaluated US‐based skin assessments for their face validity (differentiation between involved SSc and healthy

Correlation between Underwater Noise and Sea Level at Ieodo Ocean Research Station

open access: yesJournal of Marine Science and Engineering, 2020
To investigate the correlation between underwater noise and sea level, data collected at Ieodo Ocean Research Station (from 15 May to 27 August 2013) were analyzed. Temporal variations in the overall level of underwater noise were similar to those in sea
