The solution of multi-scale partial differential equations using wavelets
Wavelets are a powerful new mathematical tool which offers the possibility to treat in a natural way quantities characterized by several length scales.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Hermite–Gauss wavelets: synthesis of discrete forms and investigation of properties
Considered new results of studies of eigenvectors and vector functions of discrete and continuous Fourier transforms. It is known that such eigenvectors are products of the Gauss function on Hermite polynomials, a name is proposed for the functions ...

Wavelets transformation: A new method for signal analysis
In this paper a new method for signal analysis - wavelets transformation is presented. We consider basic theoretical assumptions and mathematical foundations, signal representation in time-frequency domain, fast algorithms for practical implementation ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

Multivariate box spline wavelets in higher-dimensional Sobolev spaces
We construct wavelets and derive a density condition of MRA in a higher-dimensional Sobolev space. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for orthonormality of wavelets in Hs(Rd) $H^{s}(\mathbb {R}^{d})$.

Frames of directional wavelets on $n$-dimensional spheres
The major goal of the paper is to prove that discrete frames of (directional) wavelets derived from an approximate identity exist. Additionally, a kind of energy conservation property is shown to hold in the case when a wavelet family is not its own ...

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...
