Shannon Wavelets Theory [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 2008
Shannon wavelets are studied together with their differential properties (known as connection coefficients). It is shown that the Shannon sampling theorem can be considered in a more general approach suitable for analyzing functions ranging in multifrequency bands. This generalization coincides with the Shannon wavelet reconstruction of L2(ℝ) functions.

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Wavelets transformation: A new method for signal analysis

open access: yesVojnotehnički Glasnik, 2000
In this paper a new method for signal analysis - wavelets transformation is presented. We consider basic theoretical assumptions and mathematical foundations, signal representation in time-frequency domain, fast algorithms for practical implementation ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Complex Wavelet Transform-Based Face Recognition

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2009
Complex approximately analytic wavelets provide a local multiscale description of images with good directional selectivity and invariance to shifts and in-plane rotations.

Hermite–Gauss wavelets: synthesis of discrete forms and investigation of properties

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики
Considered new results of studies of eigenvectors and vector functions of discrete and continuous Fourier transforms. It is known that such eigenvectors are products of the Gauss function on Hermite polynomials, a name is proposed for the functions ...

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.

From the construction of wavelets based on derivatives of the Gaussian function to the synthesis of filters with a finite impulse response

open access: yesНаучно-технический вестник информационных технологий, механики и оптики
For continuous wavelet transformation, wavelets based on derivatives of the Gauss function are used, and for multiscale analysis, Daubechies wavelets are used.

Multivariate box spline wavelets in higher-dimensional Sobolev spaces

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2018
We construct wavelets and derive a density condition of MRA in a higher-dimensional Sobolev space. We give necessary and sufficient conditions for orthonormality of wavelets in Hs(Rd) $H^{s}(\mathbb {R}^{d})$.

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...
