Peripheral lysosomes recruit PLEKHG3 to focal adhesions and restrain protrusion dynamics
Proximity‐dependent labeling at the LAMTOR complex revealed the Rho GEF PLEKHG3 as a lysosome‐proximal protein directing the study toward the influence of lysosome positioning on actin dynamics and cell motility. We show that PLEKHG3 colocalizes with lysosomes at focal adhesion sites and observe that forced peripheral dispersion of lysosomes hinders ...

Review on Mitigation of Paraffin Wax Formation using Jatropha-Based Inhibitor
Wax deposition in pipelines and wells is one of the problems in the oil and gas industry. Wax deposition can lead to pipeline blockages, reduced flow capacity, and even production facility or pipeline closures.

Paraffin Wax Deposition: Mitigation & Removal Techniques
Flow assurance is critical and difficult for deepwater pipeline since the seawater temperature, surrounding pipeline, is usually much colder than the surface air temperature.

Golgi enzymes are retrieved from the plasma membrane to the trans‐Golgi network
Golgi enzymes are traditionally considered resident proteins retained within the Golgi apparatus. Here, we demonstrate that a subset transiently reaches the cell surface and is subsequently retrieved to the trans‐Golgi network via retrograde transport. Using a nanobody‐based toolkit, we uncover a dynamic trafficking cycle of several Golgi enzymes.

Prediction temperature field and wax deposition based on heat–fluid coupling method
Wax deposition can reduce flow channel, increase the resistance and decrease fluid producing intensity in oil pipelines, which bring a critical operational challenge for the oil development. The prediction of temperature field and wax deposition location

Wax deposition in horizontal wells
In this research, wax deposition in horizontal well bores was studied. In a horizontal well, the main mechanism for wax appearance is the pressure change rather than the temperature change.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Progress of research on wax removal during pigging of oil pipeline
Wax deposition is a severe flow assurance challenge for waxy crude oil transportation. Generally, mechanical pipeline pigging is used to remove the wax deposits on pipeline wall.
