Existence of solutions for a nonlinear hyperbolic-parabolic equation in a non-cylinder domain
In this paper, we study the existence of global weak solutions for the equationk2(x)u″+k1(x)u′+A(t)u+|u|ρu=f (I)in the non-cylinder domain Q in Rn+1; k1 and k2 are bounded real functions, A(t) is the symmetric operatorA(t)=−∑i,j=1n∂∂xj(aij(x,t)∂∂xi)

Pullback Attractors for a Nonautonomous Retarded Degenerate Parabolic Equation
This paper is devoted to a nonautonomous retarded degenerate parabolic equation. We first show the existence and uniqueness of a weak solution for the equation by using the standard Galerkin method.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

In this study, we study a Kirchhoff type problem involving singular and critical nonlinearities. With aid of variational methods and concentration compactness principle, we prove that the problem admits a weak solution.

Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

Existence of solutions for differential inclusions on closed moving constraints in Banach spaces
In this paper, we prove the existence of solutions to a multivalued differential equation with moving constraints. We use a weak compactness type condition expressed in terms of a strong measure of noncompactness.

Existence of solutions for logarithmic Kirchhoff equation without compactness in $\mathbb{R}^3$
In this paper, we investigate the logarithmic Kirchhoff-type equation \begin{align*} -\left(a+b\int_{\mathbb R^3}|\nabla u|^2 \mathrm{d}x\right)\Delta u+V(x)u=|u|^{p-2}u\log |u|, \quad x\in\mathbb {R}^3, \end{align*} where $a,b>0$ are constants,

Weak compactness in locally convex spaces [PDF]
The notion of weak compactness plays a central role in the theory of locally convex topological vector spaces. However, in the statement of many theorems, completeness of the space, or at least quasi-completeness of the space in the Mackey topology is an important assumption.

dUTPases are involved in balancing the appropriate nucleotide pools. We showed that dUTPase is essential for normal development in zebrafish. The different zebrafish genomes contain several single‐nucleotide variations (SNPs) of the dut gene. One of the dUTPase variants displayed drastically lower protein stability and catalytic efficiency as compared ...

Pullback attractors for 2D MHD equations with delays on unbounded domains
The aim of the paper is to consider the asymptotic dynamics of weak solutions for 2D MHD equations with delay terms on unbounded domains. First, we propose some appropriate assumptions of the delay terms and establish the existence and uniqueness of weak
