Weak Lensing Analysis of A2390 Using Short Exposures
We present a weak lensing analysis of the galaxy cluster A2390 at z = 0.23 using second moment shape measurements made in 411 short 60 s exposures. The exposures are obtained in three broadband photometric filters ( g , r , and i ) using WIYN-ODI.

ABSTRACT Features considered indicative of hyperpycnites and intrabasinal turbidites overlap. Outcrop study presented here suggests that the Westward Ho! Formation forms an 800 m high deepwater‐slope system dominated by hyperpycnites. Taking this unit, and other successions where hyperpycnites have been described, as having been deposited solely from ...

Abstract Long‐duration spaceflight represents an extreme challenge, triggering adaptive responses including spaceflight‐associated neuro‐ocular syndrome, characterized by diminished visual acuity and ocular changes, which is a significant health risk for Mars missions.

Mothers' responses to relational savoring as a function of attachment: A qualitative study
Abstract A person's state of mind with respect to attachment, measured by the Adult Attachment Interview (AAI), represents how the individual perceives, accesses, and processes attachment‐related content. One's state of mind with respect to attachment is thought to guide behavior in relationships, including caregiving relationships, and thus may have ...

Finding Stars: Mapping the Geography of the World's Scientific Elites
Short Abstract Scientific excellence is clustering ever more tightly in a few ‘superstar’ cities. Four—New York, Boston, London and the San Francisco Bay Area—now host 12% of the world's top scientists. In contrast, the Global South remains largely absent, with the notable exception of Beijing's dramatic rise.

Deformation‐Induced Formation of Stray Grains in Additive Manufacturing of Single Crystals
Stray grain formation severely limits the additive manufacturing of single‐crystal alloys. By integrating in situ synchrotron techniques, ex situ characterization, and multi‐scale multi‐physics modeling, the authors reveal that stray grains originate from dislocations at the solid‐liquid interface, rather than thermal supercooling in conventional ...
