Navigating the Twin Transformation: How Digitalization and Sustainability Shape the Future

open access: yesStrategic Change, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Amid growing societal and scholarly interest in the interplay between sustainability transformation (ST) and digital transformation (DT), this study conducts a systematic literature review to advance the understanding of twin transformation (TT). Analyzing 65 peer‐reviewed articles, this review makes three key contributions: (1) It synthesizes

Intuition–Driven Prospection and Uncertainty Misalignment: Sources of Entrepreneurial Agency Problems in Ventures

open access: yesStrategic Change, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Start‐up CEOs are usually more aligned with the interests of the venture board compared to CEOs in legacy firms, and therefore it is usual to conclude that the traditional agency problem is lower in ventures. In this article, it is argued that this is only half of the story, and that the agency problem is reversed in early ventures such that ...

Forecasting the Detection of Lyman-alpha Forest Weak Lensing from the Dark Energy Spectroscopic Instrument and Other Future Surveys

open access: yesThe Open Journal of Astrophysics
The apparent angular positions of quasars are deflected on the sky by the gravitational field sourced by foreground matter. This weak lensing effect is measurable through the distortions it introduces in the lensed quasar spectra.

Probing a regular non-minimal Einstein-Yang-Mills black hole with gravitational lensings

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2019
We investigate weak and strong deflection gravitational lensings of the regular black hole predicted by a non-minimal Einstein–Yang–Mills theory. We find that its weak deflection lensing is the same as a Reissner–Nordström black hole's.

Weak lensing of large scale structure in the presence of screening

open access: yes, 2015
A number of alternatives to general relativity exhibit gravitational screening in the non-linear regime of structure formation. We describe a set of algorithms that can produce weak lensing maps of large scale structure in such theories and can be used ...

Particle dynamics and gravitational weak lensing around black hole in the Kalb-Ramond gravity

open access: yesThe European Physical Journal C, 2022
In this paper, we have studied the particle dynamics, gravitational lensing and energy processes around the black hole (BH) in Kalb–Ramond (KR) gravity.

Anisotropy Analysis of Bamboo and Tooth Using 4‐Angle Polarization Micro‐Spectroscopy

open access: yesNano Select, EarlyView.
Super‐resolution via orientation: spatial distribution of specific molecular vibrations are revealed at 1/20 of the diffraction limit. ABSTRACT To investigate the anisotropic properties of biomaterials, two distinct classes are considered as follows: polymer‐based (cellulose in plants) and crystalline‐based (enamel in teeth), each demonstrating ...

A deconstruction of methods to derive one-point lensing statistics

open access: yesThe Open Journal of Astrophysics
Gravitational lensing is a crucial tool for exploring cosmic phenomena, providing insights into galaxy clustering, dark matter, and dark energy. Given the substantial computational demands of $N$-body simulations, approximate methods like $\texttt ...

KiDS-i-800: Comparing weak gravitational lensing measurements from same-sky surveys [PDF]

open access: yes, 2017
We present a weak gravitational lensing analysis of 815 deg of i-band imaging from the Kilo-Degree Survey (KiDS-i-800). In contrast to the deep r-band observations, which take priority during excellent seeing conditions and form the primary KiDS data set

The Measurement‐Impact Gap: A Bibliometric Diagnosis of Development Finance Institutions and SDG Research

open access: yesSustainable Development, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The role of Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) is a topic of growing scholarly importance. While existing literature has mapped the thematic scope of this field, a critical diagnosis of its intellectual structure and inherent biases is missing.
