Optimization and Analysis of Tangential Component Orientations in OPM-MEG Sensor Array
Optically pumped magnetometers (OPMs) have brought a transformative advancement to magnetoencephalography (MEG), enabling flexible, noncryogenic, and wearable neuroimaging systems.

Are the Weak Measurements Really Measurements?
Weak measurements can be seen as an attempt at answering the Which way? question without destroying interference between the pathways involved. Unusual mean values obtained in such measurements represent the response of a quantum system to this forbidden question, in which the true composition of virtual pathways is hidden from the observer.

When a well-localized photon is incident on a spatially superposed absorber but is not absorbed, the photon can still deliver energy to the absorber. It is shown that when the transferred energy is small relative to the energy uncertainty of the photon, this constitutes an unusual type of weak measurement of the absorber's energy, where the energy ...

“Weak” measurements and supraluminal communication [PDF]
There is suggested a version of the experiment with a correlated pair of particles in the entangled state. The experiment demonstrates that, in the case of weak and/or non-demolition measurements of one of the particles, it is possible to transmit information with a speed not limited by velocity of light.

Optically pumped magnetometers (OPMs) enable high-resolution biomagnetic imaging, yet conventional single-beam designs are constrained by bulky, alignment-intensive polarization optics and susceptibility to laser-power noise.

Weak Compactness and Vector Measures [PDF]
Introduction. It is the purpose of this paper to develop a Lebesgue theory of integration of scalar functions with respect to a countably additive measure whose values lie in a Banach space. The class of integrable functions reduces to the ordinary space of Lebesgue integrable functions if the measure is scalar valued.

Weak Convergence of Topological Measures [PDF]
AbstractTopological measures and deficient topological measures are defined on open and closed subsets of a topological space, generalize regular Borel measures, and correspond to (nonlinear in general) functionals that are linear on singly generated subalgebras or singly generated cones of functions.

Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

In nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) co-magnetometers, the non-uniform transverse energy distribution of the pumping Gaussian beam can result in substantial optical pumping inhomogeneity and decoherence of atomic spins, which hinder the improvement of the
