Detection of Weak Radar Return Signals Based on Pseudo-Time Domain Algorithm

open access: yesApplied Sciences
When the signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) falls below −10 dB, signals are considered weak. Radar systems, particularly those on small platforms like drones and satellites, often face this challenge due to limited power, resulting in low transmit power and ...

Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Design of a weak bioelectric signal acquisition circuit

open access: yesJournal of Measurement Science and Instrumentation, 2021
A surface electromyography(sEMG) signal acquisition circuit based on high-order filtering is designed. We use a two-stage adjustable amplifier and a high-order Sallen-Key bandpass filter to solve the problems of non-adjustable amplification gain and low ...

Is Gravitational Lensing by Intercluster Filaments Always Negligible?

open access: yes, 2008
Intercluster filaments negligibly contribute to the weak lensing signal in general relativity (GR), $\gamma_{N}\sim 10^{-4}-10^{-3}$. In the context of relativistic modified Newtonian dynamics (MOND) introduced by Bekenstein, however, a single filament ...

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Circular RNA expression landscapes in myelodysplastic neoplasms: Associations with mutational signatures and disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative study, the abundance of circular RNA molecules in bone marrow stem cells was found to be elevated in patients with high‐risk myelodysplastic neoplasms, and to be associated with an increased risk of progression to acute myeloid leukemia.

Coevolution leaves a weak signal on ecological networks

open access: yesEcosphere, 2017
One of the major challenges in evolutionary ecology is to understand how coevolution shapes species interaction networks. Important topological properties of networks such as nestedness and modularity are thought to be affected by coevolution.
