A Meir-Keeler type common fixed point theorem for four mappings [PDF]
In this paper, we prove a general common fixed point theorem for two pairs of weakly compatible self-mappings of a metric space satisfying a weak Meir-Keeler type contractive condition by using a class of implicit relations.

Hemispherical power asymmetries in the WMAP 7-year low-resolution temperature and polarization maps
We test the hemispherical power asymmetry of the WMAP 7-year low-resolution temperature and polarization maps. We consider two natural estimators for such an asymmetry and exploit our implementation of an optimal angular power spectrum estimator for all ...

Weakly compatible maps in fuzzy metric spaces
In this paper, we prove common fixed point theorems for six self maps by using weakly compatibility, without appeal to continuity in fuzzy metric space. Our results extend, generalized several fixed point theorems on metric and fuzzy metric spaces. Mathematics subject classification: 47H10, 54H25.

Greguš type fixed points for weakly compatible maps
Two self maps \(A\) and \(S\) of a normed space \(X\) are called weakly compatible if \(Ax=Sx\) implies \(ASx=SAx\). Let \(F\) be the family of mappings \(\varphi:\mathbb{R}^{+}\rightarrow\mathbb{R}^{+}\) which are upper semicontinuous, nondecreasing and satisfying \(\varphi(t)0\).

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

Twisted equivariant K-theory, groupoids and proper actions
In this paper we define twisted equivariant K-theory for actions of Lie groupoids. For a Bredon-compatible Lie groupoid, this defines a periodic cohomology theory on the category of finite CW-complexes with equivariant stable projective bundles.

In situ molecular organization and heterogeneity of the Legionella Dot/Icm T4SS
We present a nearly complete in situ model of the Legionella Dot/Icm type IV secretion system, revealing its central secretion channel and identifying new components. Using cryo‐electron tomography with AI‐based modeling, our work highlights the structure, variability, and mechanism of this complex nanomachine, advancing understanding of bacterial ...
