Weakly symmetric spaces in complex and quaternionic space forms
Archiv der Mathematik, 1995We prove that some classes of generic submanifolds which include homogeneous real hypersurfaces in complex and quaternionic space forms are weakly symmetric spaces. In our method, the reflection with respect to a submanifold plays a central role.

A Construction of Weakly Reflective Submanifolds in Compact Symmetric Spaces
2017In this paper, we give sufficient conditions for orbits of Hermann actions to be weakly reflective in terms of symmetric triads, that is a generalization of irreducible root systems. Using these sufficient conditions, we obtain new examples of weakly reflective submanifolds in compact symmetric spaces.
