PEDOT‐Based Eutectogel Electrode Arrays for Enhanced High‐Resolution Electrogastrography: Fabrication, Stability, and Wearable Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Here, we present a high‐density PEDOT eutectogel electrode array for enhanced body surface gastric mapping. Silver electrodes are blade‐coated onto flexible substrates, followed by electrogelation of PEDOT:PSS and the deposition of a PEDOT:LS eutectogel.

Enhanced tribological properties of filled modified polytetrafluoroethylene with flower-shaped MoS2/C

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Mechanical Design, Systems, and Manufacturing
In order to enhance the inadequate wear resistance of polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) without compromising its advantage of low friction coefficient, the MoS2/C-PTFE composites were prepared.

Effect of mating materials on wear properties of amorphous hydrogenated carbon (a-C:H) coating and tetrahedral amorphous carbon (ta-C) coating in base oil boundary lubrication condition [PDF]

open access: yesJurnal Tribologi, 2017
In this study, wear behavior of amorphous hydrogenated carbon (a-C:H) coating and tetrahedral amorphous carbon (ta-C) coating when sliding against various mating materials in base oil boundary lubrication condition is comparatively investigated to find ...

Analysis of wear mechanism in TPU-steel contact pair by means of long stroke tribometer tests [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
A complete wear characterisation of a thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) sliding against steel is presented. Wear tests were performed using a long stroke tribometer under sliding reciprocating movement and dry conditions.

Wear consideration in gear design for space applications [PDF]

open access: yes
A procedure is described that was developed for evaluating the wear in a set of gears in mesh under high load and low rotational speed. The method can be used for any low-speed gear application, with nearly negligible oil film thickness, and is ...

Zwitterionic Self‐Assembled Monolayer for Simultaneous Noise Suppression and Hole Extraction in High‐Performance Near‐Infrared Organic Photodetectors

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
This study presents a new hole transporting material (HTM) mechanism for self‐assembled monolayers in near‐infrared organic photodetectors. The formation of zwitterions induces a strong electric field that significantly increases the work function of HTM‐coated indium tin oxide substrates. The devices exhibit low dark current and noise, along with high
