Ontology languages and Geospatial Semantic Web

This chapter introduces ontology languages -- RDF and OWL. RDF is used as a general method for conceptual description or modeling of information on the Web through a Graph-based data model. The core structure of the RDF is a set of triples, which are also known as RDF graphs.
