Decoding chemical profiles in insect‐induced gall development: Insights from Phacopteron lentiginosum–Garuga pinnata interactions

open access: yesEntomological Science, Volume 29, Issue 3, September 2026.
Analysis of volatile and non‐volatile metabolites across three developmental stages (3rd, 4th and 5th instar nymphal stages) of leaf galls induced by Phacopteron lentiginosum on Garuga pinnata revealed that the 3rd stage exhibited the highest chemical diversity and concentration followed by 4th and 5th stages.

Direct seeding to restore tropical seasonal forests: effects of green manure and hydrogel amendment on tree species performances and weed infestation

Restoration Ecology, 2020
Although direct tree seeding may be a potentially useful restoration practice, many biotic and abiotic barriers prevent seedling emergence and early development, reducing its success and applicability.
