Automatic Reconstruction of Woven Cloth from a Single Close‐up Image
Abstract Digital replication of woven fabrics presents significant challenges across a variety of sectors, from online retail to entertainment industries. To address this, we introduce an inverse rendering pipeline designed to estimate pattern, geometry, and appearance parameters of woven fabrics given a single close‐up image as input.

Textile Encoding Inspired by Langer Lines via Elastically Graded Embroidered Tessellations
A standard embroidery machine can encode skin‐like directional mechanics into stretchable fabrics that, when worn, augment the wearer's skin. Zigzag stitch patterns, inspired by skin collagen structure, pack extra slack in threads that, when tessellated, mimic Langer lines.

This study introduces a textile‐based capacitive pressure sensor featuring a triangular prism microstructure, which significantly enhances sensitivity to 5.52% kPa−¹ and supports a wide sensing range up to 330 kPa. The sensor's performance is validated in a 4‐channel capacitive pressure‐based force myography (cFMG) armband for gesture recognition ...
